Recently, my friend Kim Yuskaitis and I started recording a podcast, Kim & Angela Talk, where we explore the fascinating world of energy work! We share our personal experiences and insights on healing, covering a wide range of energy modalities. Each episode is a unique journey filled with laughter, growth, and a connection that we hope resonates deeply with our listeners.


As we navigate the ups and downs of life, we find that energy work provides powerful tools for healing and personal growth. In our podcasts, we share our stories and explore various techniques that have greatly impacted our lives and the lives of our guests.


Understanding Energy Work


Energy work is a collection of practices designed to balance and restore our body's energy. Techniques and modalities like Reiki, Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy, PSYCH-K® and Emotion Code® amongst others are all part of this realm. These practices are based on the belief that our bodies have an energy system that influences our physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being and that we are all our own healers.


In our podcast, Kim and I make these concepts accessible to everyone. We break down complex ideas into digestible pieces. Whether you're new to energy healing or a seasoned pro, we provide insights that can empower you on your journey.

Practical Tips for Energy Work at Home


Kim and I believe that energy work can easily fit into daily life. Here are some strategies we've discussed that can help you embark on your energy work journey from home:


Meditation and Mindfulness


Devoting just a few minutes daily to meditation can significantly enhance your awareness of your energy. Simple practices, such as focusing on your breath or visualizing a healing light surrounding you, can make a big difference. Studies show that consistent meditation can reduce anxiety levels by up to 60%.


Grounding Techniques


Grounding helps you connect with the Earth and release stagnant energy. Find a quiet outdoor space, take off your shoes, and feel the grass or dirt beneath your feet. Picture roots extending from your feet into the Earth, anchoring and stabilizing you.


You can also try the Mother Earth, Father Sky centering exercise I write about. It just takes a few moments to feel centered and grounded.

While our podcast is filled with insights, it's essential to remember that everyone’s journey in energy work is truly personal. We encourage listeners to stay open to different practices and experiences, as you never know what might resonate with you.
